Back to FUN flying. WEASEL PRO!
well, lots of glass has already gone through my hands and although it is FUN and there is no comparison in speed and performance there is too much to loose... after John from HKM hooking me up with his Austinized Electron, i realized how FUN foam is and how care free and enjoyable flying and landing is... so i grabbed a weasel my g/f left behind (the one won at last years weasel fest raffle) and worked a deal that she can design it and i can fly it
so the WP is all done now, probably some final balancing will come at the slope but so far im resting at 14.9oz... wich is still LIGHT! for a parker/vincent weasel... this will also shock most people who write off the weasel as SLOW.... i also am gonna try and get this weasel to 100mph in the backside.. (hey, if a colibri can do it, a weasel can ), im sporting a 270mah batt (the one from the hitec radio kits FITS PERFECT and almost needs no nose weight) an electron 6 and some hs-85mg's... lol... my mach dart and destiny and MB all have 81mg's and my weasel gets 85's... oh man
so low and behold the quot;super starquot; (oh god! thats so lame) lol.... but i did have a flower mini blade... so i guess its ok.. haha

Right on JOe, looks like fun! I've done somewhere in the 60s with a Weasel, and I think the quot;recordquot; is somewhere in the 80s. Of course, this is flying at our über-crappy DS spot here in Santa Barbara, not at Vincent or Parker. 100mph should definitely be doable...though the Weasel is something of a squirrely DSer, so you're gonna have to earn it
Good luck with your quest--I am sure you will succeed!
Steve
P.S. I mentioned your effort on the flyWeasel group. So now the entire Axis will be rooting for you!
Steve
Joe - that's a nice 'chickified' Weasel! (I know what g/f-designed covering jobs are like...fluro pink and black with dolphin stickers is the norm for mine! )
Best of luck with the chasing the 100!
Anton
golly with all my elaborate paintwork , i should order a weasel too...
100mph weasel...lol... oh man....
yeah, its a little girly but hopefully its just a blur haha.... i cant wait to fly it...

mmmmm.... epp....

Sounds like SOMEONE just crunched one of their crunchies?
--Alex
lol, nope... all my crunchies are perfectly fine and intact...
theres just something great about flying 2' from your face, and sometimes hitting yourself... and laughing about it, lol
JOe
i know what you mean.
i normally fly elec's, and do it alot with my wings. Used to do it at the field, but it kinda pissed the old gassers off. A tiny 24quot; wing screaming along at 70 mph just feet from the flight line and right over the ground just doesn't make one popular.
Any ideas why?

Just don't do it at 100mph.
Foam, it does a body good. wait.....
I was sold on the Weasel after a visit to Elwood a few weeks ago. I've got one I'm about to start on this weekend, I'll be putting the 85mg's in too. Good job on the stars and stripes!
JOe,
the new weasel looks really nice, a little girlie, but nice. By the way
I got a dollar that says you can't fly it into the back of your girlfriends car...
