agp wastegate

i have a agp wastegate on my car which tune or wat all can i do to get the most power wit the agp wga i was goin to get the dsp but i see alot of people sayin its not good wit the dsp n the agp wga

The stock WGA is much better for running the 93tune. The problem with the AGP is that hitting the same boost levels that the 93tune+stock WGA will hit (20-22psi on a hot day) will make the car too tedious to drive on the AGP since the slightest touch of the gas pedel will overboost it. You can still use the AGP with the DSP, it's just not going to deliver the same gains that those with stock WGAs enjoy.

is there any different tuners  i could  go with

Yeah, there's SCT ($300) but you'll need a tuner to create a tune for you to use with it, running the stock WGA will still be better than running the AGP and you'll need to buy a DSP ($280) because the SCT can't datalog for a total of about $580. There's SCT PRP ($500-800) which will allow you to tune the car yourself if you have previous experience tuning DCX PCMs (again you'll still need a DSP to datalog with) for a total of $780-1080. And then there's AEM EMS which is a full replacement PCM that will allow you to both tune the car yourself and datalog (no DSP required) for around $2000 but it's not OBDII complient (won't pass inspection) so it's mostly for track-only use where you want to have meth injection and\or N2O spray as part of the tune with traction control.

If you're really hell bent on using an aftermarket WGA check out the FM WGA.  The spring isnt nearly as heavy as the AGP(no PTB, smoother spikes) and it's a little snappier than the stocker on PCM control.

/Agree
The FM WGA is also a very good option, the spring is only 8lbs so it works well on PCM control. It's just a bit more costly and sometimes takes a rescale tune (added expense) to get it dialed in on the 93tune.

AGP is win!

I ked i ked.
AGP wastegates do suck, for daily driving.

i guess ill run the dsp wit the agp wg

I think the issue is the OP does not want to spend money on a part he already has.
If you are hell bent on running the AGP, then take the car off of PCM control and just adjust your fuel amp; timing with the DSP.
This way is much more time consuming than using the stock WGA and simply flashing the 93 octane tune,  but it can be done.

Question,  the FM waistgate, who makes that?

Forward Motion.

Thats what i thought, but i looked online for a forward motion waistgate and found nothing. Why do u say the APG is bad for eveyday driving?

Forward Motion, Inc. 2007 Catalog

The AGP isn't good for everyday driving because partial throttle overboost sucks all the fun out of driving the car. You have to be constantly watching the boost gauge to make sure you're not leaning out the engine. Have to drive like grandma in 1st and 2nd gear then wait till 3K RPMs in 3rd before you can punch it or you just rip the rubber off the tires or bog down the engine. Having to learn how to drive something is pretty tedious, with the stock, S2, or FM WGA you just get in and go without having to adhear to 'rules'.
