Question about Neu Motor

Amp ,Prop ,Efficiency,Max Cells ,etc..
With Best Regards
Belfenson.

The .5Y motors are a real pain to produce.  The 1D is much easier to make and specs out VERY close to the .5Y.  The .5Y may be going away as a result.  I haven't seen specs for either motor yet, but I just talked with Steve about the two motors last weekend.

Hi Davesieger

Just got my GUNTHER in the mail today!
It is one of the 1509/1D with 6.7:1 and it is going to make my hoot (later destined for my zoom) the fastest climbing 10-cell hoot around!

How many amps can you expect to draw using the 1509/1D on 3300s or 3700s? I know it depends on the prop but those motors seem really hot.

For the best effeciency they should run above 160 Amps

Dave, you need use your checked bag weight allotment of 50lbs/bag and load them up with goodies.  Bring them east!

Hi Argarre ,Which is the weight of the motor and the RPM/volt?
