front mods and mpg

Wat mods can get you better gas mileage to a stock car,,

Driver Mod - Less boost, downshifting sooner to avoid stops during city driving
Clean Airfilter
Clean Fuel Filter

You can always swap your engine with a Prius.  Seriously though, how often do you fill up?  I fill up every 260-280 miles (average).  If that's not good enough, you should've purchased a N/A 4 cylinder car.

When driving normal without going into any boost, as i don't beat on the car a lot, i noticed better fuel mileage when i upgraded to stage 2, and currently now with stage 3. Seriously

Definitely keep the car out of boost, clean air filter, keep proper tire pressure, fresh spark plugs/wires, clean fuel filter, change oil with Mobil1 5w-30 every 3,000 miles, take all the extra crap out of your car that you don't really need like heavy subwoofers etc. I get about 220-230 miles on a tank city driving and about 270 highway.

realy, why did you get this car if your wanting better gas mileage. I have a 300zx ill trade ya for it. Gets a good 30 miles to the gallon haha

Fuck, I only get around 200-220.

the car is in top shape all sparkplugs tire pressure intake,ect.. i drove today got 170 whole tank use to get 100 with exhast leak ( p0171) fixed it now  i get better but not boosting and it was all highway  170
where u think i should check next

Probably a bad pre cat O2 sensor.
I get 16-18 MPG so dont complain lol

Go big turbo, saved me some gas mileage, as long as i stay out pf it.

i took a trip with no thermostat once and my car stayed between 120 and 170 it never heated up properly.  this was the only time i got bad gas mileage make sure your operating around 200.

your best bet is less boost and to try and stay out of boost like kagekun said but if you want better gas mileage get a prius...there somewhat cheap

You can remove the cork from the exhaust side with a larger turbo. (the stock turbine is really small)
If I drive decently I'll see 30 MPG.

so check thermostat

sticking brakes cause bad mpg's.  Ive caught two sticking brakes with an infered temperature gun pointed at rotors
